  • Grind the coffee right before you brew it, and only grind
    what you need for whichever method you use to brew.
    If you use a burr grinder, I recommend a medium to
    fine grind. For a French Press and use the following ratio: 5 cups of
    boiling water slowing poured onto 5 tbsp of ground coffee.
    Stir well and let that sit for 4 minutes before plunging.

  • Make sure you’re only grinding the coffee you’ll use. The grind size should be the size and consistency of sea salt. For a proper pour over you’ll need a chemex, paper filters and a scale.
    Use the following ratio: 1g of coffee to 16ml of water.

    So for a pot of coffee that yields about 2 big cups (250ml each), you’d use 32g of coffee + ~500ml water.
