Glen hansard - rhythm and repose

It’s been a month of Glen Hansard on a heavy rotation in the roastery. I hadn’t listened to him in awhile but following his death I was definitely going through the catalogue and reminiscing of simpler times. Rhythm and Repose was his first solo album after the massive success of the film Once and his breakout with the Swell Season had put him on map. This one feels more personal and back to his roots. “Song of Good Hope” will always be an important one. And I really like “Talking with Wolves”. This album was particularly nice when I was up and roasting late into the night and prepping orders.

There’s nothing quite like Glen’s voice when everyone else is sleeping and you need to put another roast on the heat.
